Millions of tiny Robots, Ltd, was founded in New York in 2005. The principals, fresh off the heels of 4 years working together in children's animation, decided to form a more versatile, boutique sized studio, devoted to creating realistic and fantastic images in CGI. They found quick success that first year, creating exciting broadcast advertisements for Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, and Victoria's Secret, just to name a few. They also extended their storytelling abilities into the realm of medical animation, where they earned awards and accolades working with some of the city's most talented agency creative directors.
During the company's 8 year tenure in New York, their client roster expanded to include many household names. Not least of those is Verizon, where they were involved in defining the Droid brand from it's inception. MotR was responsible for the design and creation of the first dozen or so Droid "Eyes", which appeared in every medium, from billboards and broadcast ads to the phones themselves.
MotR also had the opportunity in 2010 and 2011 to work with the inimitable Wolverton-Johnson, helping them design and execute exciting new campaigns for the Cadillac and Lincoln brands, as well as the award winning Comedy Central re-brand.
Making Atlanta Home
In 2013, Millions of tiny Robots descended on Atlanta, Georgia. Looking to investigate the vibrant creative and production environment there, and intrigued by rumors of the lush greenery and delicious barbecue, the company pulled up stakes and moved south. The company set up shop in the Krog Street Stove Works, across from the construction site of the new Krog Street Market, and has found a very welcoming home here in the Piedmont. We look forward to continuing to discover all of the great possibilities here in Atlanta, while still working closely with our loyal New York clients.
